Autonomous Robot
The goal was to design and program a robot to autonomously navigate a farm-based skill course and perform various tasks. Navigation was achieved through a course-wide "GPS" set up for traversal actions and reflective strips to fine-tune the position as the robot approached a task.
The design had to remain under a certain weight limit and fit inside of one cubic foot. The only other requirement was that the robot must be fully autonomous.
My responsibilities included the electrical system and programming, as well as assisting with mechanical troubleshooting.
